Job summary

Voith Hydro in York, PA is hiring for a Blast Operator to operate blast equipment, clean, deburr and prepare parts for blast/paint, and to operate forklifts and overhead cranes. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and blueprint reading training provided by Voith.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must pass Blueprint Reading course (provided by Voith).

Responsibilities

• Operate blast equipment to blast parts clean for NDE inspection and for surface preparation for paint.
• Clean, deburring, and protecting parts for blast/paint according to engineering drawings.
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes (up to 15 Tons).
• Prep parts for shipment and maintain general cleanliness of work areas.
