Job summary

BakerRisk's corporate office in San Antonio, TX is seeking a full-time entry level engineer in the Blast Effects section. The role focuses on supporting testing related to flammability and explosion phenomena, and assisting mid-level and senior staff in explosion consequence assessments and incident investigations.

You will also help prepare technical proposals, reports and presentations, and travel frequently to test ranges and client sites.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering degree required; advanced degrees preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects across varied environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with field or lab-scale testing required.
• Willingness to travel frequently.

Responsibilities

• Support testing related to flammability and explosion phenomena.
• Assist explosion consequence assessments and incident investigations.
