Job summary

Baker Engineering and Risk Consultants, Inc. is seeking a full-time entry level engineer in the Blast Effects section at our corporate office in San Antonio, TX. The role focuses on explosion consequence assessments and CFD analysis of explosion phenomena.

You will assist mid-level and senior staff, participate in explosion testing, and help prepare proposals, reports, and presentations. Travel is required and a competitive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

  • Mechanical Engineering degree (MS or PhD preferred).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Travel will be required.

Responsibilities

  • Support explosion consequence assessments and CFD analysis of explosion phenomena.
  • Assist mid-level and senior staff on related work, including explosion testing and incident investigations.
  • Prepare technical proposals, reports and presentations.
