Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Blade Lead Technician to supervise blade repair contractor teams, perform repairs at laydown yards, and ensure safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets are met. The role requires proactive leadership with extensive blade maintenance experience and the ability to intervene directly in repairs or inspections.

The ideal candidate will oversee contracted repair teams, coordinate with GE Vernova Service Engineering, and interface with site personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or HS Diploma with 3+ years blade repair experience.
• Minimum 2 years of blade repair experience.
• Willingness to travel between Pawnee and Garden City laydown yards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise blade repair contractor teams and adjust repair pacing.
• Ensure safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets are met.
• Coordinate with GE Vernova EHS, Operations, HR, and Engineering teams.
• Directly undertake repairs when needed to maintain project continuity.
• Maintain clear communications with Site Manager and client contacts.
• Keep records and report progress using MS Office and Smartsheet.
