Job summary

Weyerhaeuser seeks a Blackhawk pilot based in McMinnville, Oregon to provide helicopter services for Timberlands in Oregon and Washington. Travel may be required; local operations are common and safety-first scheduling supports flight hours and work-life balance.

The role requires extensive rotary-wing experience, a Class II FAA Medical Certificate, and UH60/S70 type rating or current CFR 61.58. Expect extended rosters and relocation to Northwest Oregon as needed.

Qualifications

• 3,000+ total rotary-wing flight hours required.
• 1,000+ hours sling/external load operations.
• Minimum 3 years / 500 hours in aerial work operations, including firefighting.
• UH60/S70 Blackhawk type rating or current CFR 61.58 preferred.
• CRM training and FAA medical certification required.

Responsibilities

• Act as PIC or Co-pilot of S-70 Black Hawk in firefighting operations day and night.
• Conduct aerial work including suppression, external load and reconnaissance.
• Rostered assignments away from home base for extended periods.
• Relocate to Northwest Oregon and report to McMinnville base within ~60 minutes.
• Maintain flight logs and ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company SOPs.
