Job summary

Weyerhaeuser is seeking an experienced helicopter pilot based in Chehalis, WA, to provide VFR services across Oregon and Washington. Tasks include forestry fertilization, herbicide application, and firefighting water drops, with some travel and expense coverage. Bell 212 and Bell 206L-4 aircraft experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Commercial pilot license required.
• Rotorcraft-helicopter rating required.
• Second class medical certificate required.
• Minimum 1,000 hours PIC Rotorcraft.
• Experience with FAR Part 133/137; able to work in a team.
• Experience spraying and granular fertilizer with under-slung spreaders.
• Longline firefighting in mountainous terrain preferred.

Responsibilities

• Primary duties include forestry fertilization and herbicide application by helicopter.
• Conduct water drops for firefighting operations as needed.
• Occasional ferry and reconnaissance flights.
• Travel to Oregon and Washington; travel expenses provided.
