Job summary

Weyerhaeuser is seeking a Blackhawk pilot based out of McMinnville, Oregon, to provide helicopter services for Timberlands in Oregon and Washington. Travel and local assignments included with daily duties and safety-focused flight operations.

Responsibilities include acting as PIC or Co-pilot on the S-70 (UH-60L) in firefighting operations, conducting aerial work, and maintaining logs while complying with FAA regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• Commercial rotorcraft pilot certificate with instrument rating.
• 3,000+ total rotary-wing flight hours.
• 1,000+ hours Part 133 sling load / external load operations.
• Minimum 3 years / 500 hours in aerial work operations, including firefighting.
• Class II FAA Medical Certificate.
• CRM training.
• Ability to obtain USDA Firefighting Carding for the S-70.
• Willingness to relocate to Northwest Oregon and report to the McMinnville base within ~60 minutes.
• Willingness to fly other aircraft types if qualified.

Responsibilities

• Act as PIC or Co-pilot of S-70 (UH-60L) Black Hawk helicopter in firefighting operations.
• Conduct aerial work operations such as Aerial Fire Suppression and External load operations.
• Relocate to Northwest Oregon area and report to the McMinnville base for daily duties.
• Maintain flight logs and ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company policies.
• Train and participate in check-flights as required by FAA/USFS and company.
