Hillsboro Aviation is seeking a B205A-1++ Pilot for Exclusive Use or Call-When-Needed contracts at KHIO to support USFS, DOI, FEMA and other mission profiles.

You will work 12 on/12 off or 12 on/2 off, with travel covered and per diem paid. You will represent the operation professionally, uphold safety, and follow SOPs and contract obligations.

Ideal candidates bring required licenses, mountain PIC time, and a commitment to reliability.

Qualifications

• COM or ATP certificate with Rotorcraft Helicopter Rating.
• Current Medical Class 1 or 2.
• Driver’s License.
• Passport and FCC radio license (for OPS crossing into Canada or relocations to Alaska).
• Ability to legally work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Operate B205A-1++ helicopter on EU or CWN contracts; start May/June 2026 through end of fire season.
• The pilot will cover the fire contract on a 12 on / 12 off or a 12 on / 2 off schedule.
• All travel and accommodations are covered by the company; per diem for meals and incidentals.
• Represent the aircraft and operation in a professional manner to customers, including the U.S. Forest Service.
• Strict adherence to SOPs, contractual obligations, and daily operational reporting procedures.
