Job summary

Aerotek Aviation is seeking an experienced Avionics Technician to perform maintenance on UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters at Lakehurst, NJ. You will troubleshoot, repair, install, and certify avionics systems in accordance with manuals and approved procedures.

Requires at least 4 years of UH-60 avionics experience, the ability to obtain a Secret clearance, and ownership of your own tools. This on-site role offers weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of UH-60 avionics experience.
• Able to obtain Secret Military Clearance.
• Must own personal tools (etched & shadowed).

Responsibilities

• Perform full avionics maintenance, repair, modifications, inspections and servicing on UH-60 aircraft and certify work.
• Troubleshoot avionics systems and utilize the Federal Supply System.
• Remove and install all avionics systems on UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters.

Aerotek Aviation is looking for an experienced (Black Hawk) Avionics Technician to perform maintenance on Army Sikorsky UH-60 helicopters. This Technician will be responsible for performing a full range of repairs, modifications, inspections and servicing of aircraft in accordance with approved methods, techniques and practices and certifies work accomplished. Core Responsibilities:

• Perform the full range of avionics systems maintenance, repair, modifications, inspections and servicing of aircraft in accordance with approved methods, techniques and practices and certifies work accomplished.
• Troubleshoot systems and use the Federal Supply System
• Perform removal and installation of all Avionics systems on UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters.
• Read and understand manuals and schematics
• Read and interpret all instruments
• Use special test equipment and tools
• Perform full system checkout

Absolute Must Haves:

• Need at least 4 years of H-60 Avionics experience (Any H-60 model variant, i.e. SH-60)
• Able to obtain Secret Military Clearance
• Must own personal tools (etched & shadowed)

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $38.00 - $38.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
