Aerotek is seeking an Avionics Technician for a contract-to-hire role based in Mount Pleasant, PA. You will fabricate, install, and troubleshoot avionics and electrical systems on helicopters and aircraft, read wiring diagrams, and assist with interior disassembly/assembly for installations and repairs.
The position involves light sheet metal fabrication, wiring harness work, antenna/coax installations, and OHM/power checks. On-site in a large hangar with a 45-person team.
Helicopter Avionics Technician (Part 145 Repair Station)Negotiable Pay Rate Based On Hands on Aircraft Avionics Experience.Job DescriptionAs an Avionics Technician, you will be responsible for fabricating and installing basic avionics and electrical systems. You will assist with more complex installation tasks and disassemble and reassemble aircraft interiors as needed to facilitate avionics installations or repairs. Additionally, you will complete light sheet metal fabrications, wiring harness fabrications, and installations, antenna and coax installations, as well as OHM and power checks.
