Job summary

Peugeot Sport (Stellantis Motorsport) in Michigan seeks a Welding Process Engineering BIW Process Engineer to lead development and implementation of BIW welding processes and equipment for new model assembly. You will interface with multiple departments to understand components and generate process sheets, layouts, and tooling plans to meet cost and timing targets. The role also drives PFMEA activities and tooling/vendor coordination for successful program launches.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of BIW automatic processes and equipment.
• Coordinate with Product Engineering, Vehicle Assembly, Quality, and other groups.
• Create process sheets, assembly layouts, and installation tooling plans.
• Lead PFMEA activities with the platform team for new/critical processes.
• Determine tooling requirements, vendor quotations, and procurement steps.
