Job summary

Stellantis is seeking a Welding Process Engineering BIW Process Engineer to drive development and implementation of automatic BIW welding equipment and tooling for new model production at one or more Stellantis plants.

The role interfaces with multiple organizations to translate component knowledge into process sheets, layouts and installation plans, while ensuring cost and timing targets are met. PFMEA leadership is a key focus for new processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• Ability to work with all levels of the organization and strong communication.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of BIW automatic process equipment, tools, and facilities for new model production.
• Interface with Product Engineering, Vehicle Assembly, Quality, etc. to understand components and generate process sheets and layouts.
• Lead PFMEA activities with platform teams for new or critical processes.
