Job summary

Stellantis is seeking a Welding Process Engineering BIW Process Engineer to lead development and implementation of automatic process equipment and tooling for new model assembly production. You will ensure processes meet Stellantis specifications, follow up with suppliers, and track launch targets across multiple plants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
• 5+ years of engineering experience in automotive weld manufacturing environment.
• Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Strong oral, written, presentation, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of BIW automatic process equipment, tools, and related facilities for new model assembly production.
• Coordinate with Product Engineering, Vehicle Assembly, Quality and others to generate process sheets, layouts, and tooling plans.
• Lead PFMEA activities with the platform team for new/critical processes and determine tooling requirements and vendor quotations.
