Job summary

Hut 8 Corp. in Miami, Florida is seeking a Bitcoin Mining Strategy Associate to lead market analyses, drive M&A initiatives, and support strategic investments and partnerships across AI, Colocation, Cloud, and mining operations.

You will work with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams to build financial models, evaluate opportunities, prepare investment memos, and monitor performance of the ASIC mining fleet in a fast‑growing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• 2+ years in corporate development, investment banking, management consulting, private equity, or a related field.
• Direct experience in Bitcoin, Bitcoin mining, or energy is encouraged but not required.
• Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Exceptional project management and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead market analyses to identify industry trends, competitive dynamics, and growth opportunities.
• Develop market analyses and strategic insights for senior leadership to inform strategy.
• Create and manage financial models to evaluate acquisitions, investments, and fleet optimization.
• Conduct due diligence on strategy, including financial analysis and risk assessment.
• Identify, evaluate, and execute investment opportunities from screening to integration.
• Prepare investment memoranda and board presentations.
• Recommend operating enhancements to maximize profit of the ASIC mining fleet.
• Assist in structuring and negotiating deal terms with stakeholders.
• Monitor performance and develop dashboards/reports for executive leadership.
• Collaborate with finance, legal, operations, and corporate development teams.
