Job summary

The Briad Group is seeking a Bistro Supervisor for Courtyard by Marriott Central Islip in Central Islip, NY. The role focuses on leading a busy kitchen team, maintaining brand standards, and delivering high-quality breakfast, dinner, and bar service with a strong guest focus.

Responsibilities include supervising food prep, overseeing ordering and cost controls, and ensuring safety and sanitation in line with ServSafe standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of kitchen or food service experience.
• ServSafe Certification preferred.
• Strong leadership, multitasking, inventory management and problem-solving abilities.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach kitchen associates, schedule coverage, and support management on performance development.
• Supervise daily food prep, ensure recipe compliance, portion control and presentation.
• Oversee ordering, receiving, inventory control, rotation and cost management (labor and food).
• Maintain health department compliance and HACCP/ServSafe procedures.
• Collaborate with front-of-house teams and support events and guest concerns.
