Bistro Attendant – Courtyard by Marriott, Central Islip, NY

The Bistro at Courtyard is a chic, fast casual concept restaurant. We offer an eclectic menu that includes a variety of refreshing to-go items, sit-down fare, cocktails, wine, beer, and Starbucks coffee. Bistro team members master a wide variety of food and beverage functions from serving coffee and other beverages to preparing ingredients for cooking.

Summary of Position

Come join our team in our lobby Bistro! You will prepare food using our menu and presentation specs, prepare Starbucks coffee drinks and other beverages, including alcohol, for our Bistro customers. If you have the desire we will train you! Part‑time and full‑time positions are available.

Keys to Success

• Top‑tier guest service skills
• Some experience as a cook a plus
• Ability to follow all sanitation procedures

• Excellent stamina
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Diploma from a culinary school will be an advantage, but not required

Earnings

$17.00 an hour, plus tips. Actual rate offered will be based upon job title, experience, location, and position.
