Job summary

White Lodging is seeking staff for the Bistro in Indianapolis to assist guests with order taking and food/beverage delivery, while upholding high standards of service and safety. You will operate the micros system, upsell menu items, and ensure quick, courteous service in a fast-paced environment.

The role involves food preparation, barista duties, cleaning, inventory assistance, and adherence to health regulations. Training on emergency procedures and pathogen safety is required.

Qualifications

• Must pass certification quiz/test for position.
• Have a thorough knowledge of emergency procedures.
• Complete Chemical Training and Blood borne Pathogen Training.

Responsibilities

• Guest Service/Point of Sale: greet guests, take and deliver orders, operate POS.
• Counter Sales/Food Preparation: answer questions on menu, upsell items, prepare food.
• Barista/Beverage Duties: brew coffee and prepare drinks per recipes.
• Bussing/Cleaning: manage waste, reset tables, help with dishwashing.
