Job summary

HHM Hotels in Harlingen, TX is seeking a friendly Bistro Server to warmly serve guests, take orders, and ensure guest satisfaction while upholding brand standards and sustainability goals. Responsibilities include setting up your shift station, preparing food and beverages, handling payments, and communicating dietary needs to the kitchen, with additional bar/bussing duties during peak periods.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent and prior food and beverage experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous food and beverage experience or equivalent training required.

Responsibilities

• Set up necessary supplies, food, and beverage at the beginning of the shift and maintain a stocked work area at all times.
• Take orders from customers, input orders, obtain payment and provide change.
• Communicate dietary needs and special requests to the kitchen.
• Prepare food, coffee and other beverages, including alcohol when necessary.
• Perform other food and beverage functions such as bartending and bussing during peak periods.
• Count bank at end of shift, complete cashier reports, and secure bank according to policy.
• Maintain clean equipment and work areas and adhere to safety standards.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and provide courteous service.
