The Courtyard by Marriott on CMU campus in Mount Pleasant, MI is seeking skilled cooks for evening dinner service at The Bistro. You will produce high-quality meals, follow brand recipes, and maintain sanitation standards in a busy F&B outlet.

You will ensure proper setup, adhere to QA guidelines, handle FIFO, and complete required cleaning and administrative duties while working flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Formación

• Food preparation experience is a plus
• Ability to follow recipes and brand standards
• QA and Health Department standards compliance
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends
• Strong communication and teamwork

Responsabilidades

• Set-up kitchen properly and on time daily
• Ensure all food is prepared by recipes designated by brand
• Ensure food quality and quantity are correct
• Must follow all QA and Health Department standards
• Notify supervisor of any problems or complaints when they arise
• Follow “clean as you go” policy and keep work area clean at all times
• Rotation of goods – FIFO (First In First Out)
• After service, turn off and clean oven tops, work areas, and reach-in boxes
• Make sure production charts are closely followed and adhered to
• Fill out appropriate cleaning charts
• Be aware of accident prevention and help enforce safe work conditions
• Follow all kitchen regulations as outlined and directed
• Complete administrative duties as required

The Courtyard by Marriott, situated on CMU’s campus, is looking for skilled cooks to assist with evening dinner service at their onsite F&B outlet - The Bistro. JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for the daily production of high-quality food and maintaining sanitation standards at all times.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Make sure production charts are closely followed and adhered to
