Job summary

Lodgco Hospitality is seeking a breakfast cook for the Courtyard by Marriott on CMU's campus. You will assist with breakfast service in the onsite F&B outlet, The Bistro, and contribute to high-quality food and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include preparing items by brand recipes, maintaining sanitation, and supporting a smooth kitchen operation during shifts. Candidates with kitchen experience and a dedication to hospitality are invited to apply.

• Rotate goods using FIFO (First In First Out).
• Turn off and clean ovens and work areas after service.

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the daily production of high-quality food and maintaining sanitation standards at all times.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Set-up kitchen properly and on time daily
• Ensure all food is prepared by recipes designated by brand
• Ensure food quality and quantity are correct
• Must follow all QA and Health Department standards
• Notify supervisor of any problems or complaints when they arise
• Follow “clean as you go” policy and keep work area clean at all times
• Rotation of goods – FIFO (First In First Out)
• After service, turn off and clean oven tops, work areas, and reach-in boxes. Empty and clean dishwasher
• Make sure production charts are closely followed and adhered to
• Fill out appropriate cleaning charts
• Be aware of accident prevention and help enforce safe work conditions
• Follow all kitchen regulations as outlined and directed
• Complete administrative duties as required
