Job summary

MHG Hotels LLC in Speedway, IN is seeking a friendly Bistro Attendant to welcome guests, deliver attentive service, and share small talk while guiding them through our seasonal drink and food menu.

You will prepare food for the day, set up the Bistro, monitor inventory, coordinate with the manager, handle payments, and maintain cleanliness. Prior bartending experience is a plus; professional demeanor is essential for this role.

• Set up Bistro for AM/PM shifts.

• Cook food and serve food and drinks.
• Maintain cleanliness of Bistro and kitchen.
• Process all payment methods.
• Follow policies for handling cash and closing the cashier.
• Clean up after shifts and prep for next shift.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment in Bistro and kitchen.
• Ensure equipment is clean and fully functional.
• Occasionally diffuse difficult situations.
• Comply with liquor laws.

As a Bartender, you will:

• Follow the company policies for dropping cash, open and closing the cashier
• Clean up after your shift and prepare for the next shift
• Maintain clean safe environment both in Bistro and in kitchen
• Ensure the Bistro and its equipment are clean and fully functional
• Occasionally diffuse difficult situations
• Comply will all liquor laws

Minimum Requirements:

This role requires a professional demeanor, a warm and welcoming personality, and ability to engage easily and actively connect with others is required. Must be genuinely caring, compassionate, and comfortable conversing with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and at all organizational levels. Speak with others using clear and professional language. Previous bartending experience is a big plus. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

The Bistro Attendant role requires standing for long periods of time, or entire shift. Professional appearance and clean uniform. Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing less than 30 pounds without assistance.
