Job summary

Atria Senior Living is seeking a friendly Bistro Attendant to host and prepare meals for residents in a warm, bistro-style setting. You will take orders, serve beverages and meals, and ensure seamless service while maintaining a clean dining area and friendly atmosphere.

The role requires customer service experience, basic Word/Excel skills, and potential TIPS training. Growth opportunities and supportive scheduling accompany a robust benefits package.

• Must be able to serve up to twenty (20) residents and guests throughout the meal period.

Responsibilities

The Bistro Attendant hosts and prepares our residents' meals in a bistro-style restaurant. This individual is responsible for setting and clearing tables, taking resident food and beverage orders, serving residents in a timely professional manner, and all other aspects of bistro operations.

• Demonstrate superior customer service to ensure that guests are satisfied with their meal experience.
• Correctly use the Point of Sale system to process all orders and payments.
• Correctly open and close the Point of Sale system at the start and finish of each shift.
• Prepare meals from the menu and promote food items and coffee drinks.
• Ensure that the grab and go is always stocked and that back up for the grab and go is made and rotated.
• Determine Panini specials for the day with help from the chef.
• Display a welcoming and outgoing attitude toward all diners, residents, their families, and potential residents.
• Ensure the Bistro remains clean and orderly.
• Maintain temperature logs and par stock lists on a daily basis.
• May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.

Salary Range

The wage range for this position is $17.85/hr - $21.42/hr, dependent on prior work history and experience
