Job summary

WellBridge of Fenton is seeking a Bistro Associate to support the daily operation of the facility's Bistro. You will work to deliver an EPIC food and beverage service program while ensuring quality, clean and safe dining experiences for residents and guests.

Part-time role with no late nights, opportunities for career advancement, tuition reimbursement up to $2500 per year, 401k with employer match, and seven paid holidays. A supportive leadership team is available to help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Must be ServSafe Manager and Allergen trained.
• Starbucks Barista training or experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of food service laws and guidelines for dietary services.
• Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing Bistro operations.
• Prepare and deliver an EPIC food and beverage service program while maximizing customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate food-related activities with other departments.
• Develop, maintain and implement Bistro policies and procedures.
• Perform administrative duties to ensure control of equipment and supplies.
• Supervise Bistro personnel, including hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating performance.

In collaboration with the Executive Chef, the Bistro Associate is responsible for assisting in directing the overall operation of the Bistro in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing the facility, to assure that quality services are provided on a daily basis and that the Bistro is maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner.

How you will help people every day:

• Assist in the planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the functioning of the Bistro, its programs, and activities.
• Prepare and deliver an EPIC food and beverage service program while maximizing customer satisfaction.
• Assist in the coordination with food related activities with other departments.
• Assist in developing, maintaining and implementing written Bistro policies and procedures.
• Assist in performing administrative duties such as completing necessary forms, reports, evaluations, studies, etc., to assure control of equipment of supplies.
• Assist in the supervision of the Bistro personnel, including hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating performance.

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills and strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to interact effectively with residents, families, physicians, and staff.
