Job summary

NexCare WellBridge Senior Living seeks a friendly Bistro Associate at WellBridge of Romeo in Romeo, MI. You will assist in running the Bistro, ensuring high-quality meals and great resident satisfaction through attentive service.

Role includes $17/hr starting wage, plus hero pay of $0.85/hr and yearly increases, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for advancement within 27 facilities.

Qualifications

• ServSafe and Allergen training completed.
• Barista training from Starbucks or equivalent.
• Knowledge of food service regulations for care facilities.
• Strong English communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing and evaluating the Bistro and its programs.
• Prepare, cook and deliver EPIC food and beverage service to residents.
• Coordinate with other departments on food-related activities.
• Promote hospitality and excellent service in daily interactions with guests.

• All shifts include rotating weekends & some holidays

How you will help people every day:

• Assist in the planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluatingthe functioning of the Bistro, its programs, and activities.
• Prepare, cookand deliver an EPIC food and beverage service program while maximizing customer satisfaction.
• Assist in the coordination with food related activities with other departments.
• You will promote hospitality and excellent customer service in our every daily interaction with our guests, their families, and visitors. Through kind words and encouragement, you will promote a positive, healthy environment in which to heal and thrive.

What you will need to be part of ourEPICteam:

• ServSafe and Allergen Trained
• Starbucks Barista trained.
• Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide Bistro services.
• Must be knowledgeable of food service laws, regulations and guidelines governing dietary functions in nursing care facilities and food service establishments.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills and strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to interact effectively with residents, families, physicians, and staff.
