Job summary

WellBridge of Romeo, part of NexCare WellBridge Senior Living, is hiring a Bistro Associate to deliver an EPIC food and beverage service program. You will plan, cook and deliver meals, coordinate with other departments, and promote hospitality to residents, families, and visitors.

This full-time role offers starting wages of $17.00 per hour plus Hero Pay of $0.85 per hour, with rotating weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• ServSafe and Allergen training completed or in progress.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with residents, families, physicians, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating Bistro operations.
• Prepare, cook and deliver an EPIC food and beverage service program.
• Coordinate with other departments on food-related activities.
• Promote hospitality and exceptional customer service to guests and visitors.

• Assist in the planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating the functioning of the Bistro, its programs, and activities.
• Prepare, cook and deliver an EPIC food and beverage service program while maximizing customer satisfaction.
• Assist in the coordination with food related activities with other departments.
• You will promote hospitality and excellent customer service in our every daily interaction with our guests, their families, and visitors. Through kind words and encouragement, you will promote a positive, healthy environment in which to heal and thrive.

What you will need to be part of our EPIC team

• ServSafe and Allergen Trained
• Starbucks Barista trained.
• Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide Bistro services.
• Must be knowledgeable of food service laws, regulations and guidelines governing dietary functions in nursing care facilities and food service establishments.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills and strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to interact effectively with residents, families, physicians, and staff.
