Job summary

Scherer Bros. Lumber Co. in Brooklyn Park, MN, seeks an Enterprise Software & Systems Industry Expert to own BisTrack across our sales and administrative teams.

You’ll be the go-to administrator, trainer and problem-solver for the platform that runs order entry, pricing, inventory lookup, estimating and customer management. You will work with IT and vendors on updates, test modules, and integrations, and you’ll train staff to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in ERP administration, enterprise software support or IT systems management in lumber, building materials, wholesale, retail or manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with BisTrack, Epicor Eagle or a comparable industry ERP.
• SQL Server know-how, including SQL reporting, smart views and dashboards.
• Experience with system integrations, reporting tools and data analytics.
• Working knowledge of security best practices and data governance.
• Able to explain technical concepts in plain language and train others.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, Supply Chain or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Own BisTrack across sales and administrative teams: configuration, data integrity and security permissions.
• Resolve BisTrack tickets and fix root causes to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with IT and vendors on updates, patches and integrations.
• Make order entry, pricing, inventory lookup, estimating and customer management smoother.
• Test and recommend new modules and enhancements that save time and money.
• Build and deliver training, documentation and desk-side coaching for new hires and veterans.
