The City of Anaheim Public Utilities Department is seeking two dynamic Business Information Systems Analysts I for the CIS and Technology Development teams. You will analyze business needs, design system solutions, develop queries, and support public utilities information systems.

You will work on planning, requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, documentation, training, and go-live activities with COTS software and various data systems.

Competenze

• One year of experience in systems administration and project management related to automated systems.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, BIS, or related field.
• Proficiency in operational and analytical aspects of business information systems; software knowledge and documentation.

Mansioni

• Provide technical and administrative support for automated systems and vendor-supported applications.
• Participate in implementation, testing, problem resolution and procedure development for department technology.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal staff for training and procedures on new systems.
• Develop data flow diagrams and process flow analyses for current and new automation.
• Develop specifications for system modifications and interfaces; coordinate with multiple vendors.
• Coordinate documentation and training for new systems; ensure proper vendor interaction and project delivery.
• Support vendor technical staff on hardware and software projects and issue resolution.
• Develop test plans, data, and scripts; supervise testing and production readiness.
• Create custom reports and queries; manage data extracts and reporting templates.
• Administer servers/workstations and manage system security and access.
• Generate standard/custom outputs like reports, diagrams, exhibits, maps.
