Chelsea Piers Lp in New York, NY is seeking an Events Operations Coordinator for the Field House. You will join our Events team to manage all aspects of event operations, with a heavy focus on birthday party programs, and collaborate with the Birthday Party and Special Events sales teams to ensure seamless customer experiences from sales to planning to execution.

This role requires an outgoing, highly organized individual who can juggle multiple events, supervise staff, create weekly schedules,

Qualifications

• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
• At least two (2) years of sales and/or operations experience.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage internal and external customers with patience and diplomacy.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee party and event staff to ensure SOPs are followed and high quality service.
• Schedule staff for Field House parties & events including school groups, corporate events, rentals, and photoshoots.
• Communicate and confirm weekly schedules with coaches and managers.
• Serve as liaison to Chelsea Piers caterers and third-party vendors; handle invoices and payments.
• Submit cake and catering orders to vendors and coordinate with Field House directors for event execution.
• Create unified SOPs for events including Birthday Parties, Team Building, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, Adult Parties, and Location Shoots.
• Send feedback surveys to clients after events and provide daily recaps with actions to improve.
