Gladney Center for Adoption in Fort Worth, TX seeks a Birth Parent Caseworker to provide compassionate social services to birth parents considering adoption.

This role guides families from initial engagement through post-placement, coordinating home studies, matching, and post-placement supervision.

Requires a relevant degree, 2 years case management, proficiency with MS Office and Teams, and ability to drive at night; travel up to 50% of time; evenings/weekends as needed.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services field required.
• 2 years of professional case management experience required.
• Master’s degree may substitute for up to one year of experience.
• Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive at night.
• Knowledge of adoption practices and trauma-informed care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage complex cases.

Responsabilidades

• Provide emotional and practical support to expectant and birth parents.
• Develop customized case management plans.
• Coordinate between birth parents and adoptive families.
• Assist in matching, placement, and post-placement supervision.
• Complete home studies and post-placement reports.
• Identify resources to support clients.
• Coordinate local resources across locations.
• Maintain documentation in case files.
• Travel to client homes, hospitals, and resource centers.
• Work occasional evenings and weekends.
