Job summary

Sharp HealthCare is seeking a Birth Certificate Clerk in San Diego to process and register birth certificates. You will handle sensitive information, ensure legal compliance, and deliver excellent customer service to patients.

The role requires a high school diploma and 1 year of administrative experience; Epic experience is preferred. Expect variable shift times, weekend work as needed, and on-site responsibilities in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in administration, data entry, or clerical work.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes Birth Certificate Registration.
• Initiates and completes birth certificates following county, state and hospital guidelines; collects necessary information.
• Enter birth registration data into the relevant database system.
• Provide complimentary birth certificates, verification of birth, and related forms to parents.
• Assist with general clerical support to HIM department (SGH and SCV only).
