Job summary

Amgen Inc. seeks a Specialty Representative to engage university audiences and drive product adoption across a territory to be defined later. You will promote Amgen medicines, share clinical insights, and support educational programs for healthcare professionals in a dynamic biotech environment.

The role emphasizes strategic planning, sales execution, and building strong provider relationships to improve patient outcomes and advance Amgen’s therapeutic portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Associate degree with 4+ years of sales/clinical healthcare experience.
• HS diploma + 6 years of sales/clinical experience in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary customer contact for demand creation by promoting Amgen products and executing marketing strategy.
• Achieve territory sales targets by implementing Plan of Action and delivering branded messages.
• Provide current clinical knowledge of Amgen products and communicate clinical and economic benefits.
• Manage accounts, ensure product access, and resolve reimbursement issues.
• Develop territory plans with the District Manager and follow up on medical education programs.
