Job summary

GenScript USA Inc. in Philadelphia seeks a Sales Account Manager to drive and support territory sales for GenScript products and services. You will apply scientific knowledge and business contacts to develop profitable initiatives and build sales, focusing on the Mid-Atlantic region, with the ideal candidate residing in Philadelphia, PA.

Base salary ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 depending on experience. This role requires 1–5 years of sales experience and strong technical expertise, with

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or above in life sciences, or Bachelor’s with 2+ years of lab experience.
• 1–5 years of sales experience with high technical/professional expertise.
• Knowledge of Biological/CRO/CDMO markets and gene synthesis, protein, peptide, bioassays, antibody and cell line products.
• Ability to operate in an international business environment.
• Ability to forecast sales within the territory on a weekly basis.
• Team player with strong analytical and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement territory sales strategies with the Global Commercial Head.
• Match GenScript services to customers' research project requirements.
• Share market knowledge with Sales, TAM and Marketing via weekly field reports.
• Introduce GenScript to new markets – Industrial/Academic/Governmental.
• Drive business expansion with TAM and FAS collaboration.
• Build and expand a business reference network for new opportunities.
