Job summary

Locus Fermentation Solutions is seeking a Production Engineer to support production optimization and improve processes. You will analyze data, recommend improvements, and collaborate with R&D to implement technology scale-ups.

The ideal candidate has a B.S. in engineering and at least 5 years of experience in a relevant engineering role. Benefits include medical/dental/vision plans, 401(k) savings, and continuing education reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ work experience in a process/chemical engineering role.
• Experience with aerobic submerged fermentation systems preferred.
• Familiarity with quality management systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production processes to identify constraints and develop solutions.
• Recommend changes to improve efficiency and resource utilization.
• Create SOPs and technical documents to support technology transfer.
