Qualifications

• PhD required with 5+ years or terminal master's with 8+ years of research or policy experience.
• Degree in engineering, computer science, or life science.
• Proven ability to coordinate project teams and deliver high-quality analytical products on time and within budget.
• Experience conducting independent research and applying rigorous analytical approaches.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent research and analysis of complex issues related to biological systems, technologies, programs, and policy.
• Identify emerging issues, trends, and opportunities in the U.S. bioeconomy and international biotechnology.
• Develop and apply qualitative and quantitative analytical methods to address sponsor questions and assess policy alternatives.
• Prepare reports, briefing materials, white papers, and deliverables for government sponsors and senior decision-makers.
