Job summary

Johnson Service Group is seeking a Material Handler I for a biotech client in Union City, CA. This 6-month contract pays $26/hour and includes 6 paid holidays. Duties include receiving, storing temperature-sensitive materials, issuing to work orders, and maintaining ERP transactions.

Qualifications: high school diploma, 3–5 years in receiving/shipping/inventory, forklift certification preferred, CA driver’s license required, and strong written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• Experience in receiving, stockroom, shipping and inventory analysis.
• Experience handling temperature-sensitive materials a plus.
• Strong Excel and ERP data entry skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently in a team.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process incoming material; store safely.
• Issue material to work orders and perform ERP transactions.
• Perform cycle counts and analyze inventory discrepancies.
• Operate forklifts/hand trucks and track freight as needed.
