Job summary

Pivot Bio is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain manufacturing and warehouse equipment, focusing on mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems to ensure continuous operation and safety.

You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot complex issues, calibrate instruments, and coordinate with vendors, while adhering to GMP/GLP practices and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• 3–5 years in industrial maintenance, biotech/pharma preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, pumps, valves, piping, electrical panels and packaging machinery.
• Respond to breakdowns, diagnose issues, and implement repairs to minimize downtime.
• Assist in installation, commissioning, and modification of equipment.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, equipment logs, and calibrations.
• Adhere to safety regulations and GMP/GLP as applicable.
• Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs and maintenance.
• Assist in inventory management of spare parts and supplies.
