Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for 24/7 operations in a GMP-regulated biologics facility. You will lead shift-based maintenance across Bulk, Fractionation, and Fill & Finish, ensuring safe, compliant, and reliable operation of critical systems.

Real-time technical leadership, rapid troubleshooting, and disciplined preventive/corrective maintenance will minimize downtime and keep inspection readiness.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in biotech/pharma maintenance.
• 3+ years in a supervisory or shift-lead role.
• Strong GMP-regulated biologics manufacturing experience.
• Experience with Bulk biologics production, Plasma fractionation, or aseptic fill & finish.
• Proficient knowledge of GMPs and regulatory guidance documents.
• Audit and investigation skills; report writing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate maintenance technicians during assigned shift.
• Serve as first-line escalation for production-critical breakdowns.
• Troubleshoot equipment impacting bulk, fractionation, or fill & finish processes.
• Prioritize emergency vs. planned work to protect batch integrity.
• Ensure structured shift handoffs (written and verbal).
• Support maintenance planning, scheduling and 5S initiatives.
• Ensure audit-ready documentation and CMMS (SAP) accuracy.
• Assist in training multi-skilled technicians and developing competencies.
