Job summary

Eurofins USA Genomic Services seeks a Maintenance & Facility Leader to direct facility infrastructure, utilities, and equipment maintenance for a 7‑day biotech manufacturing operation. You will lead a maintenance team, manage preventive programs, control costs, and support continuous operations in a cGMP/ISO environment.

The role requires 5+ years in maintenance management within biotech/manufacturing, strong leadership, and expertise in building utilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Industrial Maintenance, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of Maintenance Manager or Facility Manager experience.
• Experience leading maintenance teams in biotech or manufacturing environments.
• Strong experience with building utilities (HVAC, boilers, compressors, electrical, plumbing).
• Experience in cGMP or ISO-regulated environment preferred.
• Experience with CMMS and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all facility and building maintenance operations (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, boilers, utilities).
• Oversee facility inspections, repairs, and improvement projects.
• Manage contractors, vendors, and service providers.
• Ensure chemical storage, waste handling, and environmental compliance.
• Lead the maintenance team in fixing, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating lab and production equipment.
• Establish preventive and corrective maintenance programs for all lab equipment.
• Coordinate with operations and quality teams to maintain equipment performance and compliance.
• Lead, supervise, and develop maintenance technicians and facility staff.
