Job summary

PCI is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for the Linden Road site in Illinois. The role supports packaging lines, performs preventive maintenance, and collaborates with Project Management, Planning, Engineering, and Production to ensure high uptime and quality.

The position may require overtime and PPE usage, with a focus on safety and continuous improvement. The candidate should have a High School Diploma (or 3–5 years related experience), basic math and computer skills, and strong problem-solving

• Professional proficiency to participate effectively in conversations.
• Strong reasoning to solve practical problems with limited standardization.

Responsibilities

• Support packaging lines with routine and non-routine adjustments to ensure high-quality product.
• Collaborate with other departments to keep lines running efficiently.
• Perform preventive maintenance, changeovers, repairs, and running adjustments.
• Read equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and services.
• Lead problem-solving discussions and drive actions to improve line performance and OEE.
• Attend Tier I Daily Directional Setting meetings and provide follow-up feedback.
