Job summary
Fenwick & West is seeking associates with 3–6 years of licensing, collaboration and commercial partnering experience in our growing life sciences technology transactions practice. The ideal candidate will represent biotechs and big pharmas in licensing patents and collaborations to advance novel therapeutics and diagnostics through trials toward FDA approval.
Experience with AI-native or AI-driven biotechnology companies is a plus.
Qualifications
- Three to six years of licensing/collaboration and commercial partnering experience.
- Experience representing biotechs and big pharmas licensing patents and collaborations.
- Experience with AI-native or AI-driven biotechnology companies is a plus.
- Superior academic credentials and excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate complex standalone commercial transactions for life sciences technologies.
- Work closely with founders developing cutting edge technologies.
- Collaborate with life sciences and broader tech teams to move deals toward closing.
