Job summary
Fenwick & West LLP seeks associates with 3–6 years of licensing, collaboration and commercial partnering transactions experience in life sciences technology. The ideal candidate will represent biotechs and big pharmas licensing patents and collaborating to advance therapeutics, vaccines, diagnostics and digital health through trials toward regulatory approval.
Experience with AI-enabled biotech—especially AI-driven drug discovery, diagnostics, or life sciences R&D—is a plus.
Qualifications
- 3–6 years licensing, collaboration and commercial partnering transactions experience.
- Strong representation of biotechs and big pharma in patent licensing.
- Excellent academic credentials and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Advise on and negotiate complex standalone commercial transactions for life sciences tech.
- Represent clients in licensing patents and collaborations toward regulatory approval.
- Work closely with founders developing cutting-edge technologies.
