Job summary

GenScript is seeking a talented Construction Project Manager to join the Operations team in Piscataway, NJ. You will lead planning, design coordination, execution, commissioning, and validation of interior renovations and facility upgrades within existing buildings.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of renovation PM experience, including occupied laboratory or logistics spaces, with a strong emphasis on minimizing disruption to ongoing operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in construction project management with interior renovations.
• Hands-on experience with design coordination, test-fits, cost evaluation, and MEP studies.
• HVAC renovation experience and labs/biopharmaceutical spaces is highly desired.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills in renovations.

Responsibilities

• Plan renovation projects, defined requirements, cost estimates, and timelines.
• Coordinate with design firms, procurement, and contractors.
• Manage bidding, contracts, and long-lead equipment for interior scopes.
• Monitor quality, safety, schedule, and occupancy disruption.
• Oversee FAT, commissioning, validation, and regulatory compliance.
