Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Biology, or related life science field from an accredited college or university.
• Extensive knowledge of biotechnology and QC pharmaceutical laboratory techniques.
• Experience with cGMPs, SOPs, GDP, FDA regulated documentation, pharmaceutical manufacturing/QA, cleanroom operations, aseptic processing, or oral solid dosage manufacturing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teaches assigned courses in Biotechnology in day, evening, online, hybrid, or blended formats.
• Develops and maintains syllabi, lesson plans, objectives, assignments, and activities.
• Evaluates textbooks and resources to support curriculum and industry standards.
• Assesses student learning through grading, feedback, and evaluations of coursework.
• Maintains accurate academic records and responds to inquiries in a timely, professional manner.
• Advises students in academic planning, registration, and career pathways.
• Contributes to departmental initiatives and community college mission.
