Job summary

Southeast Community College is looking for a part-time Adjunct Instructor in Biotechnology for the 2026–2027 academic year. This role requires teaching a variety of courses and maintaining laboratory equipment in a variety of formats including online and hybrid.

Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and current experience in Biotechnology. Responsibilities involve instruction, data assessment and promoting inclusivity within the classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields or education with science endorsement, plus 6 graduate hours in a related science.
• Two years of current experience in a Biotechnology field.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to students in a variety of Biotechnology courses.
• Prepare and administer evaluation instruments and maintain student records.
• Assist in gathering data for department assessment.
