Job summary

Locust Walk, a global life sciences investment bank, seeks an Associate to drive strategic transactions and newco creation with Banyan BioInnovations. You will manage multiple client engagements, coordinate with analysts, and contribute to the lifecycle of NewCos sourced from the US, China, and Japan.

Ideal candidates bring life sciences deal experience, strong financial modelling, and the ability to work across advisory, company creation, and clinical-stage investing.

Qualifications

• Experience in life science transactions and deal execution preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple client engagements and NewCo opportunities.
• Strong analytical and communication skills for client interactions.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution for sell-side and M&A engagements with life sciences clients.
• Oversee Analysts’ deliverables and coordinate partner conversations.
• Contribute to Banyan BioInnovations’ NewCo creation lifecycle, including term sheets and investment memos.
• Support capital formation and syndication processes for new ventures.
• Engage in due diligence, market research, and client development activities.
