Job summary

NewAmsterdam Pharma is seeking a Vice President of Corporate Communications to lead the company’s communications organization as it advances toward potential commercialization. The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on execution, advising the CEO and leadership team on messaging, media engagement, and reputation management across corporate, product, and pipeline communications.

This individual contributor role will personally develop strategies, content, and communications initiatives

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive communications leadership experience in biopharma or life sciences.
• Experience advising CEOs and senior leaders in high-growth biotech environments.
• Strong media relations and executive communications background.
• Proven ability to lead strategic, cross-functional communications programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead an integrated communications strategy across corporate, product, and pipeline communications.
• Serve as trusted advisor to CEO and senior leaders on messaging, media engagement, and reputation management.
• Plan and execute communications for clinical milestones, regulatory events, financing, and launch readiness.
• Oversee media relations, digital communications, and internal communications to support growth and culture.
• Build scalable communications capabilities and manage agency partnerships.
