Job summary

Legend Biotech, based in Somerset, New Jersey, seeks a Manager of Competitive Intelligence to join the Commercial team. This role leads CI initiatives across R&D, commercial, and strategy to inform pipeline development, lifecycle management, and long-term planning.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in pharma/biotech CI with strong analytical capabilities, excellent communication, and ability to distill complex information into actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Master’s in life sciences, business, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech competitive intelligence, strategy, consulting, market research.

Responsibilities

• Lead competitive intelligence activities across assigned therapeutic areas, platforms, and/or programs, delivering high-quality, actionable insights to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Conduct landscape assessments across scientific, clinical, regulatory, and commercial dimensions.
• Monitor competitors’ pipelines, clinical data, regulatory actions, collaborations, and market events to identify threats and opportunities.
• Synthesize complex data into clear narrative insights and strategic recommendations.
• Lead end-to-end conference CI planning and execution, including surveillance plans and post-conference summaries.
