Job summary

AGC Biologics, Inc. in Boston, MA is seeking a Business Development Associate to support North American growth across microbial, mammalian, and nucleic acids platforms.

You will identify and qualify opportunities, drive outbound outreach, and build a robust pipeline to empower our BD Directors. Based in the Boston/Cambridge biotech ecosystem, you will partner with Marketing and Market Intelligence, travel domestically ~15%, and represent AGC Biologics at industry events.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in business development or related commercial roles.
• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field.
• Proven ability to generate and manage a high-volume pipeline across accounts and geographies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to translate technical content.

Responsibilities

• Identify, research, and qualify new business leads across North America.
• Conduct proactive outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn and events to build a robust pipeline.
• Collaborate with North American BD Directors to prioritize target accounts.
• Represent AGC Biologics at local Boston-area industry events and conferences.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure timely follow-up.
