Job summary

WuXi XDC in San Francisco seeks an accomplished Senior Business Development professional to grow the ADC/bioconjugate CMC services business within the biotech sector. You will identify and develop new biotech clients across the Bay Area, manage a portfolio of accounts, and collaborate with SMEs to tailor offerings.

You will lead sales initiatives, negotiate contracts, represent WuXi XDC at trade shows, and monitor KPIs, while delivering exceptional customer service and building cross-functional

Qualifications

• Minimum of Bachelor's degree. MBA or PhD preferred but not required.
• Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years, or Master/PhD with at least 3 years of ADC industry experience, preferably including 1 year of successful sales and territory management within the ADC CMO/CRO space.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong gravitas and relationship building skills.
• Listening and empathy demonstrated.
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure.
• Demonstrated success at managing multiple opportunities and projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and to exhibit effective interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Grow the ADC/bioconjugate CMC services business in the responsible region by identifying/developing new biotech clients across WuXi XDC value chain.
• Manage a portfolio of biotech accounts.
• Build strong internal relationships across functions.
• Work closely and align with functions/SMEs for each account.
• Plan and perform the selling, proposal and contract negotiation process independently, with the support of line manager.
• Represent WuXi XDC at trade shows.
• Manage all business aspects of the customer relationship.
• Deliver exemplary customer service.
• Timely update of Salesforce.com and monitor KPIs.
