You will manage biological samples across various clinical trials and ensure compliance with protocols. This is a contract role with a standard 9 to 5 schedule located in Santa Monica, with potential for conversion.

We are hiring a Biological Sample Management Associate to support a fast paced Translational Medicine team. This role focuses on biospecimen management across multiple clinical trials and biomarker programs.

What You’ll Do

• Manage biological samples across clinical trials
• Track, reconcile, and troubleshoot sample collection, processing, and shipping
• Perform sample accessioning and coordinate with central labs and vendors
• Work within LIMS systems including Benchling and CPLIMS
• Ensure sample requests align with protocols and informed consent
• Support biomarker content in protocols and lab manuals
• Perform quality checks on lab data
• Partner with internal teams and onsite scientists to support sample operations

What You Bring

• 2 to 3 years of biological sample management experience in clinical research
• Strong understanding of clinical trial protocols, lab manuals, and ICFs
• Experience with sample shipping, logistics, and accessioning
• Experience working with central labs and vendors
• Hands on experience with LIMS systems
• Ability to work onsite in Santa Monica
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with LabLink or other LIMS platforms
• Background in biomarkers or translational medicine
